Modernist building located on the Carretera de Palamós in Celrà (Gironès)

Former residence of the owners of the Pagans Factory. In 1902, coinciding with the construction of the Factory, the house was completely renovated and enlarged, leaving it with the characteristics that currently define it.

The architect was Isidre Bosch. Renowned municipal architect of Palafrugell and adviser to the town councils of Cassà de la Selva and Llagostera. He was part of the Commission of Urbanism and Sanitation of the Chamber of Urban Property in Girona. He worked as a diocesan architect for the Bishopric of Girona, collaborating in the restoration of religious buildings affected by the Spanish Civil War.

The building is listed and is part of the Special Heritage Protection Plan of Celrà City Council. The property is in good condition, although a general reform would be needed to adapt it to the uses to be given.

The building enjoys great visibility from the Palamós road (C-66), where more than twenty thousand cars pass by every day. It is just a few minutes from the AP-7 (Girona Nord exit), the N-II and the town’s train station.

The property has an area of ​​2130 m2 of land of which 600 m2 are occupied by a house and two warehouses. In total, the building consists of about 1200m2 built on the ground floor, 160m2 of basement and about 1600m2 of garden and parking area.

The basement has several rooms with the Catalan vaulted ceiling.

GROUND FLOOR: 390m2

The main body structure consists of an open distribution floor with a structure of ceramic arches and wrought iron columns. It was once used as a bread oven (the oven still exists) shop and warehouse.

FIRST FLOOR: 365 m2

The first floor is the former home of the owners. It consists of large, spacious and bright rooms with hydraulic mosaic and other characteristic elements of the early twentieth century.

SECOND FLOOR: 260 m2

The second floor consists of two houses with terrace, renovated and in good condition.

WAREHOUSES: 270 m2

The warehouses, one of which has a mezzanine and the other a ground floor, occupy 210 m2 of land and have a total of 270 m2 built.
